Now all you need is for Mark Loretta to get hurt and Doug Mirabelli to have an All-Star caliber season!

as long as Josh Barfield performs as expected I will not be too pissed off in regards to the Loretta trade.

But if Mirabelli somehow has an All-Star caliber season (and I cash in my winning Lottery ticket) that would be awesome.

I wasnt personally too big of a fan of Brian Lawrence before. He didnt do to good for us. He is all about control and just doesnt have anything on his balls. I know we could of done better with the deal but he didnt do much for us.

Just til midseason for a labrum tear? That seems like a pretty hopeful timetable.

Looks like he's out for the entire season now...

Brian Lawrence was found to have extensive tears in both his labrum and rotator cuff during surgery today. He'll likely miss the season. Lawrence isn't expected to resume throwing for 12 weeks, and then it will just be light rehab at first. A September return would be a possibility, but it's unlikely. That means it's almost certain that the Nationals will decline his option for 2007, making him a free agent. Feb. 26 - 9:18 pm et

Losing Lawerence wasn't a big hit anyway, and gaining the potential at 3rd for a season was a good move anyway.....now it's a great move
