Billy Volek could reportedly be a Charger by next week.
San Diego is offering a sixth-round pick in exchange for Volek. The Chiefs currently appear only to be a minor player in the Volek sweepstakes, even though they clearly have the bigger need.

It's nice to have that tight end and what'shisname#21, I'm sure.

I think I could do very nice things with those weapons against a D that bad.

I guess the Chargers should just put LT at QB then?

They obviously don't need one since anyone can do what Rivers is doing with those weapons?

LT2 is the best back in football, but come on Witlon, Rivers has been studly.

I'm not a fan of Rivers but the fact that even Giants fans can't use Rivers' clipboard holding ability as smack anymore proves that Rivers deserves just a little more credit than Trent Dilfer.

Rivers has exceeded expectations for this year if you ask me.

So far.....so studly......nice to see this Defense playing lights out also......maybe Rivers will get what Fouts never had.....a complete team to work with for 5-6 straight years.....

Can you imagine if any of Fouts teams could have just stopped someone....putting 46 pts up and losing is never a good thing

I don't get the "dee de dee" reference.

(As in I don't get why it's being used in response to Rufio's post. Not that I don't get that it's a Carlos Mencia gag line.)

I thought it was funny that Rufio simply said "Rivers has exceeded expectations if you ask me". Being, what, third in the NFL in passer rating is a bit better than simply exceeding expectations, and the fact that he said "if you ask me" sounded as if it was a debatable subject.

    I was drunk. That's all.
