But if you're the Texans and you're going in the direction of adding a RB, would you want to trade for an injury-prone RB with six years left in his contract instead of taking Bush?

The Saints are stuck with Deuce as their No. 1 back because of what they're paying him.

well, I was only saying i'd do it from the perspective of the Saints.

I agree with you in that I wouldn't do it if I were the Texans.

Rivers is your QB. They the Chargers should have made the move sooner and got a player or players for Brees.

Daunte I am glad the SOB is out of Minny. We have 3 picks first 2 rounds I believe we will move up and get Vince Young. We got a 2nd rounder for an injuried Daunte Culpepper.. What would Brees be worth?

they should've got something for Brees

but alas, they gambled that he wouldn't have to have his arm surgically repaired.

and since he did, they gambled that he'd accept an incentive laden offer since they have a legit fall back option.

The initial plan was not to let Drew Brees go....it just turned out that way when his throwing shoulder got ****ed up

To get Ferguson, the Chargers would need to move into the top 4.

The going rate for that lately is two first rounders and two more mid-round picks.

Yo, I heard that the Chargers might be getting Billy Volek from the Tits. Seems like a decent plan.

I dont think Rivers/Whitehurst will cut it at QB. We need more depth.

Whitehurst has looked good up until this last game.

That being said, a veteran backup (not named AJ Feeley) would be nice.
