    4/13/05 Padres/Cubs double-header

    Game 1
    April 13th, 2005 10:05 am PST
    @
Jake Peavy 0-0, 0.00 ERA vs Kerry Wood 0-0, 3.18 ERA

    GAME 2
    April 13th, 2005 time TBD
Brian Lawrence 0-1 2.57 ERA vs Mark Prior 0-0, -.--

They're saying both games will be on Channel 4 on the UT forum, but Padres.com only lists a radio station. The original plan was game 1 yesterday on Channel 4, Game 2 today on WGN. I'd check both channels to see what's up.

Any rate, i'll be here for the first hour and a half of game 1 on my slow work connection. I have watch after that

Bad start for Kerry Wood, heh. Already a leadoff homerun, a hit by pitch, then two walks, bases loaded for Phil Nevin. No outs in the first inning yet!!!

Cubs are done. They should just tank the first game and rest their relievers/players for the second game. It's useless especially against Peavy. Good job by the Padres starting off quick.

Corey Patterson with a solo homerun to right field off Peavy . . .

5-1 Padres lead now, 4th inning.
