In the UT a couple of days ago, KT said that X is better than Bay. Didn't he just shot himself in the foot when it comes to contract negotiation?

I think X will be the better power bat than Bay, but Bay will have slightly better range in the OF.

I wish he wouldn't publically make remarks like that....but Bay also doesn't have a huge contract for Boras to bounce off of. So, even though it'd be better if KT didn't say it at all, all Boras has for now is that KT admitted X is better than last year's ROY
