    Although I feel terrible for the pitchers. The defense...Middlebrooks, Norris, Kemp in CF, Upton tending to not care about D...Gyorko not very good at 2B.

    The irony of all this is that they've assembled the Dream Team that their fans (as well as those of NL West teams not named the Dodgers) have always ridiculed as a collection of talent rather than a functioning team as the reason they underachieve.

    They'll have good days. They'll mash certainly, if people stay healthy. But 500-600 abs for Gyorko, Upton, Myers, Kemp, Middlebrooks is going to result in strikeout rates of epic proportions.. Not to mention Norris seems the only capable lead off or #2 bat. Weird as fuck team. Should be entertaining for all parties.
