    so far... i gotta admit im wrong about headley, he looks like he can maintain what hes doing. he swings a nice easy bat, and contrary to what the stats were saying about the previous year and a half, he hits the ball hard.

    but also, so far it looks like this worked out on both sides... yangervis looks like hes hitting for sd too.

    That was the thing, Headley had been hitting for a month or so, conveniently, right after he received a pain injection for (I believe) a back problem. Leo'd know better than I, but it seemed like he struggled through injuries and had finally gotten healthy-ish right before the trade.

    That's been the excuse the past couple seasons. If only he was healthy...

    So he's either inconsitant or injury prone? Who knows. So far, so good with Solarte. Not that I'm holding my breath it continues.

    True enough. Based on my minimal amount of time spent watching Headley, I think there's plenty of talent there. More than Solarte, probably. But if he's as inconsistent and/or injury prone as we've seen, it's a trade that won't make either side look bad.
