    Padres trade again! Blum to CWS for minor leaguer

    Geoff Blum traded to the Chicago White Sox for AA pitcher Ryan Meaux. (LHP)


    last year everyone bickered that Towers didn't do jack except dump Ismael Valdez off to the Marlins. Now he's trading everyone and their brother, but the end results may still be the same.

    someone on my other forum speculated that Towers has been told to "make the playoffs this year or dust off your resume" and is in panic mode.

    With the level of play that D. Jackson has displayed, they were talking about sending Blum down anyway, and decided to get something for him instead......that's what I've heard through the grapevine. So there really was some rhyme to this reason......not just a fools move.......they needed the roster spot and Blum was the most disposable
    Bring back the Chicken !!
