Man, I really want this team to do something too. Randa was not enough apparently. Hopefully they will get something going with a Nevin deal soon. Think pitching!

Padres haven't had a losing streak this bad since 2003 I think it was........and you must give it up for this bench, to have kept us in the lead this long is amazing. We just lost Ramon Hernandez for the year, that's a major blow, he was basically lost for the 2005 season, and will never wear a Padre jersey again......that hurt us greatly. The starters have only been back together for two and a half series, and it's not surprising that they aren't clicking yet. At least last night they pounded out some hits.......now it's time for some timely hitting.
If you count out the Padres at this point you're crazy...... They still have a 3 game lead even after going through the worst losing streak in years.....lol....when they come out of this they will be healthy and poised to make a move.......knock on wood

Yup........hey if they keep losing.....they deserve whatever happens.......but all teams have bad runs........fact is we've had ours and still have a shot to win the division......so they need to turn this around before it's too late.....

I think the Cardinals are going to sweep them and the Dodgers will sweep the Reds. Then the Cardinals come to use and the Reds go to you. Thats where you guys could probaly gain a few games back on us.

I'm not a great Nevin fan either, but I'm even less of a fan of people that boo their own team members , good or bad. After this mess and the 3,000 different threads I've seen on all the boards, I wanna see those naysayer fans eat their own krap.....know what I'm sayin?

    the losing streak is over.

I got to watch this game, they were airing it on AFN (Armed Forces Network) Peavy pitched a great game, despite being robbed of a decision due to (usual) lack of offense.
