    With the entire offense sucking up a storm it was hard to pick, but I'll go with Jorge Cantu who went 0-3 with 3 Ks. At least put the bat on the ball you dope.

    Hawpe is being dropped down to 7th in the order. Do people still think this lineup is better than last year's or are they going to give it more time? If I'm Black, Ludwick has a very short leash.

    Padres split the double header and exit another series winning only one.

    Game 1 Hero

    Dustin Moseley: Another gem, another no-decision. At least this time he's not tagged with the loss. ERA is now 1.40 and he's still 0-3.

    Game 1 Goats

    Chase Headley and Brad Hawpe: 0-9, 5 Ks, and 13 men left on base between the two of them. Pathetic.

    Game 2 Hero

    Ryan Ludwick: 3-4 with 2 RBIs and a HR.

    Game 2 Goat

    Chad Qualls. Nearly blew the game giving up 2 ERs in the 8th. Still credited with the most useless stat in baseball: A hold.
