I'm going to guess 3rd place. Their pitching will keep them in ballgames, and possibly even in the race for longer than some expect. But I think their lack of offense will be their undoing.

I got SF, LA and Colorado all ahead of the Padres. A 4th place might look misleading but I think the Padres will still be competitive. I think the whole division will. SF, LA, SD and AZ have the pitching and the Rockies have the offense.

I forgot the Padres signed Greg Zaun. I changed the depth chart to him beating out Rob Johnson for the back up spot.

Not that that changes anything for predictions.

Gee whiz, Nostradamus, I'm just dying to know which two teams you have finishing behind them.

Diamondbacks and Dodgers, of course. 4th and 5th place respectively.

But you're not at all biased, I see.

Ryan Theriot fail. Pujols can't wait to get out of St. Louis.

They will finish in last place. They still have really good pitching, but they lost too much on the offense with the huge loss of Gonzalez.
