Heath Bell Has a Package

Heath Bell has won the 2010 Delivery Man of the Year Award.
The award is presented annually to the league's best relief pitcher. A first-time winner of the award, Bell posted a 1.93 ERA and 86/28 K/BB ratio over 70 innings this season. The 33-year-old right-hander finished second to the Giants' Brian Wilson with 47 saves in 50 chances.

I agree with this. I thought Bell was better than Wilson but as a Giants fan I just committed blasphemy.

Its a shame for Bell when you see how dominant he has been in the closer's role that he missed out on at least a few years where he could have been racking up saves while there were still Hells Bells playing in San Diego.

Anyway, the honor was totally deserved for Bell as 2010 was simply lights for any opposing batter versus Bell.
