Even when they have a big offensive inning they manage to make it look bad.

Well, the Rockies decided to look like the 10 year old's I am coaching this summer last inning and gave up the lead. Lets see if we used up all of our Coors magic over the last week....

Rockies can flat out mash.......seems like every dude on that roster can rake......good thing they like to kick it around because they have some pitching now unlike years past....

Yeah, that's been disappointing because for the last few years we've been one of the better fielding teams. Nice job by the Padres in avoiding the sweep and keeping the 2 game lead.

Leaving Latos in for the 7th inning when he was already at 104 pitches was a horrible decision.

Hopefully it doesn't come back to bite us.

Cory Luebke is making his major league debut tonight on the heels of a 7 game losing streak.

Trying to rely on a rookie to play stopper is a brilliant move.

It didn't go well for sure, but I'd take a rookie's first start over what LeBomb and Corriea have been doing .....and actually I think Luebke might have given up fewer runs than they would have....

    This team pisses me off.

They open the season not expecting to contend so I prepare for another long season of losing just hoping to see some glimmer of hope from the rookies.

They have a good month in April, I think it's nice but it won't last.

The winning continues through May, I start to wonder but I'm still expecting the other shoe to drop.

Through June and they're still in first, I start to get cautiously optimistic but I'm still not quite convinced.

The winning continues through July, I'm slowly starting to believe but there's still two months left.

The winning goes on through August, my hopes are finally up....then BAM 9 game losing streak and the team looks like they can't beat their way out of a wet paper bag.

Well, teams have blown leads like this, but it's very rare.

Why not just leave Thatcher in the game to face the 33 yr old rookie instead of bringing in Gregerson so the Dodgers can counter with Eithier?

    edit: Oh, that's why

Padres fan I would worry about the Giants. They seem to have the pitching to get it done down the stretch.

Not exactly true this game. Sanchez issued 7 free passes and not one was cashed in. That's weak.
