    Ramon Hernandez on the verge of hiring Boras?

    I don't have any links of any sort, but there's a thread on another Padres message board that says they heard on "The Wendell wire" that a Padres player is on the verge of hiring Boras. It then came out later in the thread that the player is Ramon. I don't know how credible this is, but if it's true I don't like it at all

    unfortunately Bill Werndell is pretty accurate......... I think most of us knew we wouldn't have Ramon next year...........he wants too much...... 4years / 40 mil or something like that

    Yeah, but until he hired Boras I figured he was up for real negotiation. I figured the 4 years/40 mil was sort of a starting point. Hiring Boras tells me otherwise.

    I don't listen to his show that much anymore. About 70% of his calls are like: "Do you think the (insert team) will make the Super Bowl?"...Hacksaw cuts off the caller and answers for 30 seconds. He hardly has any conversations with his callers unless they really bring something to the table.

    I can't stand Hacksaw, and was so happy when 690 folded up here....... and he went with it..........yeahh......

    1090 is so much better
