Padres claimed Luis Perdomo off waivers from the Giants.
Perdomo started off the spring strong with a 3.48 ERA through his first 10 games, but ended up with 6.75 ERA. The Padres will give him a spot in the bullpen.

He was that close to making the Giants team out of spring training but got very wild towards the end so the Giants decided against it. He belonged in AAA anyway and was hoping the Giants would have made a trade and kept him. Good pickup for the Padres.
