Possible roster('s) and Ideas

Ok so as of today, as far as I can tell.....Here are 27 guys that needs to be narrowed to 25 obviously......not sure who has options as far as the bullpen guys

1- 1b- AGon
2- 2b- Cabrera, EGon, and a couple others
3- SS- LRod, Cabrera (rule 5 p/u)
4- 3b- Kouz
5- LF- Headley
6- CF- Gerut
7- RF- Giles
8- C - Hundley

out of the shoot we don't have to do anything for positions......could or should isn't apart of this equation so save it......

9- Peavy
10- CY
11- Baek
12- Correia
13- LeBlanc ( Ramos, )

The Bullpen and Bench is where we need the most instant attention right now...and those are rarely expensive....And considering everything going on.......I don't expect much to be spent, and many kids to get a shot to show what they can do.

Geer could be out for surgery, so there is one roster spot......so narrow it 1 more and you have our possible roster as of now......Don't resign Hoffy and we're set ( so to speak )

I forgot to add Correia signed that minor league deal and will likely win a rotation spot......so I'm adjusting Geer for Correia up top.....

I doubt they will since we have plenty of capable bodies already on the team and payroll that can play 2nd.....not saying it's a bad idea, just that I doubt that is even on the radar outside media speculation.

True. I just thought he would be a good cheap signing for the Padres because I think he is better than anyone they have now. Correia is best suited for the bullpen but he should definitely win a roster spot.

Agreed however he'll be competing at this point with LeBlanc, Ramos, Prior (maybe) etc......so he just might get another shot at a rotation

Also I don't think Denker is ready for the bench. He needs playing time in the minors to get better. He made a huge leap last year for a weak team. He had no real business playing at the big league level last year.

I'd say that adding Floyd moves Venable to Portland for sure
