I know, T.J. is actually praising the Dodgers for once. He needs to get back to ripping the Parking Lot Attendant and the Screaming Meanie. But at least T.J. is correct on the Spanos Goofs and the minor league outfit known as the Padres.

You mean the same minor league outfit Padres who have been in contention more so than the Dodgers in recent years?

You may be fielding a "major league" team, but those and this current "major league" team are all underachievers

As far as the Spanos, they really haven't done much wrong since running Bobby Ross out of town. Sure the hiring of Norv is questionable, but they have a very talented football team. So I'm not sure where this Spanos goof is coming from.

If you need a football team to root for since the Raiders/Rams skipped town, you can feel free to root for the Chargers I give you permission to do so.

So everybody can tweet about it
And then they start to R.I.P. about it
And four weeks later nobody even speaks about it.

Why the cutoff at 19 years from the present? Did the Dodgers do something significant in 1988 that you don't want to disclose?

Re: I have realized how much of a fanatic I am tonight

Sure, we have a FOSFO, but they made up for it just a little bit by getting Boston to pay $7 million to have Manny hit homers for us. That sounds like a better deal than your FO paying Jim Edmonds $6 million to have him produce for the Cubs.

Re: I have realized how much of a fanatic I am tonight

A five year deal for Juan Pierre: $45 million
A two year deal for Andruw Jones: $36 million
Having Boston pay us to have Manny Ramirez on our team: priceless

Because you chose to call the Padres a minor league outfit.

The Padres have had some success recently at least. The Dodgers have barely managed to stay competitive.

You want to talk about bad signings? I can list all the cash the Dodgers wasted as well.

Andruw Jones, Kevin Brown, Jason Schmidt, etc etc.
