You're talking to the guy who proudly wore his brown and orange Padres hat to school every day as a kid when Larry Bowa was the manager and they were making losing an art.

They're doing it again now, yeah, but they're not doing it in brown and orange caps.

Sorry.
Got a tad touchy there.
Definitely not a front runner, though.

Ive been to more Mariners games this year than any other year of my allegiance to them for the last 21 years.

I went to 20 Mets games in 2003. Yes, the year of Mo Vaughn, Robbie Alomar, and Jermoy Burnitz. I know how rough it can be. Props to Leo and the rest of you for sticking with your terrible teams...

You're a Jets fan.......you'd understand ;)
Re: I have realized how much of a fanatic I am tonight
Shit, you didn't see me bragging about being a fanatic when I was still posting game threads while DePo was on his way out as GM of a 71-91 team. And the thought of tanking to get the #1 pick crossed your mind?
Re: I have realized how much of a fanatic I am tonight
I was drunk when I posted this thread.
And the fact that tanking would get them the #1 pick crossed my mind, because, as shocking as it may be, I'm aware of how the draft works.
I don't believe I posted anywhere that I was rooting for that.
