I have to admit, I thought they would be better than the Giants and in 4th place but never did I think they would be this bad.

I'd go with upper management. They didn't really do anything in the offseason to better themselves.

They took a lot of calculated risks that would have done well for the team if only half of them panned out, but and every single one of them failed.

That doesn't really happen that often.

OK look. 2004, 2005, 2006 was Bochy. 2007 and 2008 Bud Black. One could say that Bud was riding the coat tails of the Bochy era. Valid thought. (But why is he a retard in SF? [Rhetorical])

How many good players have changed since 2004 and how many were there since 2004?

The front office has been the same throughout. How many good players have been let go since 2004? There is a minimal amount of consistency there over the years. We could start naming players.

But the same could be said for almost any franchise. Consistency of players is at a minimum.

Those are my brainstorm thoughts. It is common knowledge that I do not base my baseball knowledge on stats. I am more of an instinct player. Some of you have other methods of analyzing the game.
