You say that like as though we talked either of them up and expected wonders of them.

    2008 Predictions
-Prior ( if he proves healthy ) signs a multi-year extension in Sept.
-Gerut makes team, and has a great season
    -Edmonds outproduces 2007 Cameron
Simple question. Where are these guys are why aren't they playing?

    Oh, my bad.

When you said "you guys" I assumed you was addressing all of us and not padrefanforever.

I'm also wondering where Paul McAnulty is mentioned there.

I believe Gerut is in the minors now and McAnulty is still on the major league squad.

Gerut was sent to AAA when Edmonds came off the DL......he just had a horrid game in Portland .....but the prediction isn't dead yet......he did make the team out of spring....and if Edmonds continues to suck ass, he could get called up and have a great season still.....it's only week 2

PMac is on the bench... many here think he'll replace Hairston soon

I thought Hairston was pretty hot?

(Hot as in doing great at the plate before the peanut gallery chimes in.)

Not really....he lead the team in HR's but those were essentially his only hits.......he's been struggling if you take away the longballs........but in week 1 he had a great approach at least.....and the few games he led off he had his best AB's

.325obp .500slg .235ba.........so you can see take away his HR's and he's not doing well

He was hot the other night when he got tossed. It was Hairston getting tossed and not his bat
