Who drove in two runs last night when it was 2-0? Who *****es about run support for Peavy? You figured why and for good reason. Why make anything of an innocent, playful and accurate statement? There was nothing negative about it!! Thank you and good night!! The biggest overreaction ever belongs here

yes, last time I checked, scoring 4 runs is better than scoring 2 runs.

LTR was making a joke, a similar one I made elsewhere.

I mistakingly took the post at face value.

The Padres did provide enough run support all things considered.

Any future posts on this subject will be removed.

That is, unless you're talking about the lack of run support thus far today, anwyays.

One game at a time but 162-0 sounds good to me.

    Maddux > Wandy
    Padres > Astros

This should be another win......I expect the Padres offense to do some scoring tonight barring the reported rain heading our way .... supposed to be thundershowers starting at 4pm.....but I call BS since there is not a cloud in the sky or even visible on the horizon.

I don't expect the overrated lackluster uncohesive Astros team to do much of anything if Maddux brings anything near his A game.

I'm not even in the mood to bump the Hoffman non-clutch thread from last year's one-game playoff.

    Ugh.

What pisses me off is that all was with 2 outs and that he walked Cruz Jr, he should have just thrown him a change up down the middle.

How would today classify as a "clutch" game?

It was the third game of the season.

Which would mean Trevor's generally as clutch as they come.
