No Huffman is very interesting I thought when I saw this come out.

I'm also surprised Blanks is so low, but I guess this is the year in AA that could either vault him in the ratings, or sink him.......

Also no Geer, Ramos, Ayala, Carillo, or Bush ......and before you laugh at the last two I realize they are both coming off TJ.....and that is why they missed the list.....just not sure if anyone remembers them or knew how good they just might be.......If both come back healthy, both will be on that list next year, and possible on some other more notable lists....

having a top 10 for the team's system with good prospects not on it is a good thing.

You don't want any of your top prospects to be starting in September like the Dodgers' measly Double-A prospect, Chin-Lung Hu, did. Nevermind that he is the 3rd best prospect in the system, according to BA, because really, no SD fan gives a shit about some BA list. Otherwise, you'd be guilty of the sin of tanking.

BA ranks the Padres farm system 12th in MLB

We're finally starting to see the fruits of Sandy Alderson/Grady Fuson's system. (As opposed to KT's drafts)

SA, Fuson and Depo have been huge for sure.......but KT is still at the helm........I'm hoping that he keeps his eye for pitching, while the others can step in and fill for his shortcomings like finding big hitting, position players.....

Re: Padres minor league scouting report, per BA

Vince Sinisi broke his arm today......one less OFer to factor into the equation.

Headley continues to rake and is playing defense better and better with every outting.
Edmonds is down for 2-3 weeks and opening day is now questionable.

So should the FO look outside the current roster for his replacement, or should we let it ride with a combo of Gerut/Hairston/DeVannon & Crabbe who were all slated to fight it out to back him up this year already ?

Don't everyone post at once on the threads not dealing with video games

i'd be willing to give Gerut shot right now.

And why don't you get a video game so you can partake in the convo?

I don't have the time to waste on video games......any spare time I have to screw around on the computer is spent posting in places like this.....my days of losing myself for 3-4 hours in a video game are decades gone.

Baseball Stars - Nintendo was the last great game I ever played..... I think that was in like '90
