I'm going L-L with the young aces going for us and Cain bouncing back after an awful start which he usually does. The Padres have the same amount of losses as the Giants do right now.

Entirely possible. The whole NL West has been underwhelming thus far with everyone beating up on each other while Arizona beats up on everyone. They're running away with this thing and there might not be a wild card to fall back on this year.

I was one year short in my prediction of when the Dbacks would take over the West....I had them making their move next year.....ugh......

Those bat will cool down, they have too, I doubt they sustain this torrid pace for much longer......we'll see how these kids react after their first downer.......

That would make you a year late. They won the West last year and look to be the force for years to come.

I think he meant in the dominating fashion they appear to be doing it this season.

    I could be wrong, though.

Any rate, if the Padres get swept by the Giants, even in a 2 game series, I'm going to eat ipod.

I know what he meant Just pointing out that they are already the team to beat

A sweep either way is possible. The Giants did take the series earlier this month so get that ipod ready with some ketchup.

That negative run diff last year was a joke.......almost as much of a joke as the rockies winning 20+ to force a game 163.....too many things that should never happen.......happened......no way should a negative run diff win a div.......no way should a team ever rattle off 20+ in Sept.

A 1-0 ballgame with Matt Cain on the other side. Who'd have thunk it?

Anyone who has watched Maddux against the Giants. If the Pads win, that will be win #30 against the Gigantes.
