Yes adding an aging lefty OFer to Petco who is coming from a hitters park, is a great idea.........guess people haven't been paying attention the last few years what happens to the majority of lefty power here........especially the power of players who are entering the backside of their careers.......

The "hitters ball park" thing is a valid counter argument because a bigger percentage of Jenkins' ABs came in a "hitter's ball park" than Mike Cameron and Adrian Gonzalez.

Jenkins is looking for a multi-year deal anyway, and probably wouldn't be a fit. A one year deal would have to up his value, and playing 81 games in Petco isn't going to help it at all.

Yeah he's on the downside of his career, such as Vinny Castilla, Brian Giles, etc, etc, etc. He may still have a bit of game in him, but there is no upside, the chances he will start to lose his edge and game are greater than they are that he will get better such as Kooz and Gonzalez will. He's peaked already, let him go. I'm tired of these 1 year rentals, they dont help add any continuity to a team for the guys who are young and will be around for awhile.
