Good job settling down the middle. He's going to have another nice 15-win season.

He is still a good pitcher to have on your roster. A quality veteran and an all-round gooe teammate and person.

    hmmm,

Every year I say he is getting too old. And every year he proves me wrong. He is still a really good pitcher considering the age. Good signing.

Maddux has proven that, even at his age, he can still bring it. Not only that, but he's a great tool for the young pitchers like Jake Peavy, Chris Young, Clay Hensley, Jack Cassell, and possibly Matt Clement if he's signed for next season. That's a very young pitching staff with a pitching coach who can also go out there and get you a win ever 5th day.

Great to have Mad Dog back.

Beats Brett Tomko or Tim Stauffer by a wide margin.

He left and stopped posting after PFF and I had spent 3 pages informing him that Tim Stauffer isn't our "true ace, better than Peavy" and that it Sean Burroughs wouldn't have been "the next Tony Gwynn had we only given him a chance"

    Haven't seen him since.

If we can get Maddux some frigg'n run support this year, he'll win 15+

I forget how many games he tossed last year and gave up fewer than 2 ER's and didn't get the W.......... glad he's back.........

Now for Prior to get out of Chicago and start his late run at a HOF career finally, and in a Padre uni
