I have been the one giving him a very generous $12 mil., not Fresnan
Who cares what I kept going to, whether it was $14M or $20M/year, the point that PFF was making was, you said flat out that I never brought up $12M, you did...which wasn't exactly correct was it? Doesn't matter what I've said since then or what number I posted after that.

I never said it was your fault for me posting $14M. Do I think someone will give him that....HELL YES. I know you don't agree, but that's what I think. And, no, I don't need it confirmed, just in case you were going to play that card.

Wow you said $12-14 once or twice and stuck with $16.8 and $14 mil for three days. Congrats! That's why it's "magical". I have been the one using $12 and that's being generous. That's it! Wasn't going to play that card because it was dumb to begin with. Yes I said dumb!

I actually kind of like Silva and I think he'd do well against the National League and in a big ball park like Petco.

Fukudome is going to cost more than $6 million too isn't he? Don't you have to pay negotiation rights like with Matsuzaka/Igawa/Iwamura?
Since I can't find it on here I'll post it again......there is no posting fee for Fukudome.....he is an UFA........it's all about negiotions with him......but we had the price tag probably way wrong......it looks like he's going to cost near or north of $10m / year.........so FYI for all those still thinking there as a posting fee needed for him

He's arbitration eligible and sadly he will make more than $3 mil, same as last year. Shitty system I know but that's how it goes. Hell Craig Monroe stands to make close to $ 5 mil.

Did we sign someone with the last name Gonzalez and a first name starting with E?

Enrique and Edgar are pitchers, so I have no idea who you're talking about.

Do you think it's conceiveable that hte Padres FO has more than 1 year in mind, thus avoiding Arbi altogher by offering him a 2+ incentive laden deal ?
