He might have been joking looking back over it but he still said he was the MVP of the Padres for 33 games of work so looks like I wasn't the delusional one. I'm just glad my point got across and now I have a smile on my face Plus you are missing the point

If it's not exactly $14M/year, it'll be in the range I've been saying, $12M - $14M/year. I think there's a team out there that will give him that.

When I said Rowand priced himself out of the Padres range, it meant that it was more than what San Diego would be willing to pay him.

Thank god he never once said 12-14m ..........He seems to think he's said it at least twice, and I think I saw him give his references which of course were shot down since they weren't what YOU use

Thank god he only used $14 mil for the past four pages. Thank god it was in fact me who said $12 mil on every occasion but yeah he was right and I was wrong He was even using Rowand making $16.8 mil/yr

The other part of this entire discussion is, you missed the part where I said "the Padres are more concerned with the number of years and total money".

I didn't miss it, I tossed it out because two extra years of Rowand would only cost a few more million than Jones' three year deal. Which makes more financial sense? I thought so! Yes you did say $12=14 mil.......a long time ago and ever since said $16.8 and $14 mil. Its not my fault you kept going to $14 mil and for the most part $16.8 mil. I have been the one giving him a very generous $12 mil., not Fresnan
