Do you have a link showing how much Colon is going to make, I haven't seen any possible numbers on him at all.

Colon was able to make a sooner-than-expected return from shoulder surgery in April, and he started 5-0 with 3.69 ERA in his first six starts. Too bad it was all downhill from there. Colon made just two starts after July 23 due to elbow woes, and an appearance out of the pen against the A's during the final weekend of the season didn't convince the Angels to carry him as a reliever in the ALDS. Colon is almost certainly done in Anaheim, and it's likely that he'll accept a one-year deal elsewhere as he tries to rebuild his value. Odds are that he'll still be pricy enough to rule out most of the small-market teams. The Yankees, Mets, Cubs, Red Sox, Astros, Mariners, Phillies, Giants and Dodgers could be in the running.

Prediction: Astros - one year, $11 million

Can't find the article where he is agent said he was looking for Meche/Lilly type money just on a one year deal. Too much Arod to LA shit to sift through. He did make $16 mil last season after all.

Yeah Colon made $16M last season, but he was under a long term contract with the Angels, not a 1 year deal. He finished 6-8 with an ERA over 6 and that's going to get him a 1 year deal worth $11M? I don't know about that. I'll predict a 1-year in the range of $6M - $7M/year.

I can't see any team investing $11M for 1 year on Colon. He needs to prove he's healthy and that he can be effective again. I think he needs to take a $6 - $7M/year deal, build his numbers up, then talk about a long term deal after that.

According to the North County Times, the Padres brought in Japanese righty reliever Kazuo Fukumori for a workout at Petco last week. The Padres haven't yet been mentioned as suitors for Fukumori

Still looking for an experienced starting pitcher, the Colorado Rockies have contacted the agent for right-hander Matt Clement according to the Denver Post.
Clement's career was derailed with Boston over injuries. But he's had success in the National League.
The Arizona Diamondbacks are among the teams that have inquired about Clement.
