No, just a lack of a bullpen. And yes Hairston has killed us the past two seasons.

Because Hairston tossed his bat after hitting that HR off of Cain, he was basically showing off. Last time I checked Bonds never tossed his bat and showed up a Padre pitcher, so two totally different circumstances.

Nah. He just stands at the plate and stares at the ball.

Are you kidding me? I agree with 4SD's anouncers that he DID NOT throw the bat at Cain, correct me if I am wrong they said "it did not even get to the pitchers' diamond"

    Re: Padres@Giants 9/24/07-9/26/07

I don't think they thought he threw it at Cain, I think the complaint is that he threw it at all, like some sort of showboating.

Yeah, I don't really care all that much for the bat tossing thing for the showboating nature of it, but it's funny to read a Giants fan clamor for his getting drilled in the head in response to it, and then turn around and imply that Bonds, of all people, knows how to react "properly" after a home run.

Last time I check everyone who hits a homerun watch the ball leave the yard while there running down the first base line. What Hairston was far worse.

True, but most of them don't stand at home plate until the ball is gone.
