    Hensley done .....Tomko in for playoffs ?

    Does this give the team it's injury needed to get Tomko onto the 25man roster ?

    I think so.

    I hope he wouldn't see too many starts in the playoffs, though.

    I just heard that Tomko could only have made the playoff roster had he been on the 40man at the end of Aug............ugh...........so unless there is another loophole we're not privy too.........I don't think it's possible.......

    Yeah you have to be on the 40 man roster before Sept 1st to be eligible for the playoff roster. This is a good thing for the Padres if they finally want to get out of the first round.

    As of right now, I think the Padres are the favorites but who the hell knows this year. Padres are red hot plus no one wants to win the Central and the East has become a mess itself. Too many teams still in it. I think Cleveland is the hottest team in the AL and are my favorite to go to the WS.

    Yeah i agree with you, if the Padres can keep up this pace they might do some damage and go the distance.

    As long as the NL wins, I'm happy. I am so sick and tired of the media saying the NL belongs in the minors.
