nothing quite like Chris Young pitching to Chris Young. What a strange and anti-climactic at-bat that was.

Tonight just sucked, I hate to see 2 poor performances from CY in a row, the timing is bad for him to start slumping and there is no indication that he is coming out of it.

So how much of do you guys think it is now in his head versus it being physical.

Gah, I hope CY is ok.

I can deal with a loss here and there as long as they keep winning series', but him giving up that many runs after having a bad outing last time concerns me.

    Re: Padres@Snakes 9/3/07-9/5/07

With his start being moved up, Peavy has 5 starts left:

    Sep 5 @ ARI
    Sep 11 @ LAD
    Sep 16 vs SF
    Sep 21 vs COL
    Sep 26 @ SF

He would then be ready to start Game 1 of the NLDS on 5 or 6 days rest. Not too shabby.

They need to punch Colorado and San Francisco in the mouth, because Arizona doesn't have that tough of a schedule down the stretch, so you can't afford to lose games those teams.

You know his outing wasnt that bad, he had 6 K's and keep those two HR's in the park and we walk away with the win.

Looking for a good game tonight. First two games the winning team destroyed the looser.

BTW how come on ESPN home page, their flash player scoreboard for the Padres says " SDG" Any thoughts?
