I'll put that down and hope I'm wrong about Ledezma. He's been pretty good in relief, I just don't like the fact he's starting tonight in a bandbox. I think Germano is going to struggle as well, in what could be his last start.

I don't doubt Peavy but the offense is just bad and Arroyo seems to do good against the Pads.

    Re: Padres@Reds 8/10/07-8/12/07

Remember too, the Padres scored 2 combined runs, 1 unearned, against 3 pitchers with ERA's above 5 (Reyes, Wells, Piniero).

    Re: Padres@Reds 8/10/07-8/12/07

I wasn't thinking Ledezma would have a good game when I picked W for today.

I just figured they'd jump on Belsile for one of their rare good offensive games.

Thus far i'm correct. Hope the pen holds it down.

    Re: Padres@Reds 8/10/07-8/12/07

Well, after a 12 run game, the Padres come back to being themselves....3 runs on 4 hits, and, if not for Brian Giles, it would have been 0 runs on 2 hits. When is this front office going to be done just being "competetive"?
