Maddux pitches to Bonds again with no one on and the bases empty

After striking him out swinging and the ump giving Bonds a 2nd chance because Barrett dropped the pitch (called it a foul tip, dropped) Bonds flew out to shallow right field.

Maddux is too much of a competitor and has too much pride to just walk Bonds for no reason. If the situation warrants it, he may, but if not, he will go after him.

Call it a double standard.......but I could careless if football players ( gladiators ) roid up........so long as they don't go ****ing crazy........but in baseball......it's flat out cheating........I'm of the opinion, and always have been, that Ken Caminiti RIP should be stripped of his MVP, and the record books should show that in 1998 there was no MVP do to players breaking the rules/laws to get ahead......aka cheating

NFL......everyone should be on them.......I want blood and maiming on that field ......it's what the sport is about

Glad to see Maddux wasn't the pussy he made himself out to be. Cain once again got screwed by his own team.

    I don't think I ever said that.......

I do remember saying that he claims his supplements were tainted, and those should be tested, and if the tests comeback positive it shouldn't be on him.......since he never denied taking them ever........I also have always maintained that if the supplements came back negative......he should serve a suspension........since he never pursued the testing of his supplements........IMO he's guilty ......he served......you NEVER once heard me complain about it .......

Cain should be traded.......his career is wasting away in SF.......and he'll be nothing more than just some guy that pitched at his rate.......he'd at least get W's on the Royals

I think that post was more of a shot on me since I'm always pointing out that his story is plausible, which doesn't necessarily mean I'm saying it's true.

Struck Bonds out looking in the first at bat. How often do you see Bonds strike out looking?

I get the feeling there was a hidden agenda behind this entire thing.

Struck him out swinging on the 3rd at bat before the phantom foul tip call.

Bonds flew out on the next pitch anyways, though.
