Rowands year last year, and our need for an OFer should have warranted the trade ......not his current stats.......stop with this please.....I've never once referred to Rowands current stats as the reason it was a mistake......NEVER ONCE......

The point is that KT should be using his best chip to TRY AND MAKE THE TEAM BETTER, by addressing it's needs........OFFENSE.........

I don't/wont live in world of hindsight, and thus believe he needs to act, not sit on his thumb........We've needed offense, last year we had a hole at 3rd, this year it's at 2nd.........address the issue using the tools at your expense........No offense......No playoff success........

You seem to be closed minded to the possibility that a trade can not go in our favor. As long as action is taken you would be pleased, even if said action could cripple the team.

I mean, I'm sure the Rangers were trying to improve themselves when they traded for Eaton and Aki but that blew up in their faces. I doubt you'd be happy about that if you were a Rangers fan.

We were trying to improve the team when we traded for Giles (Brian), but in retrospect Jason Bay would've been a better fit for this team.

Your "what happened after the trade is irrelevant" arguments never cease to baffle me.

It's like you would've been happy had Towers traded Linebrink for Tampa Bay's back up left fielder because, hey, we needed somebody for that position.

Germano is doing a great job, why would you all want to replace him for someone who is 1-6 with a 4.76 era?

Who's replacing Germano? Where did we say we're replacing him? It's a FACT that Kevin Towers is looking for another starter, there's no disputing that.

Germano would be the guy...........he'd go to bullpen, and give spot starts down the stretch to spell Wells and maybe Maddux.....they are old and could use the break......

Jennings (if he's the guy) would be plugged into the #3-4 role IMO....

Can we finally be done with Scott Linebrink? Another 3-run HR given up, 2nd time in less than a week. If we can package him and Meredith before the deadline, we might get what we need to make this team a REAL contender.

Mercifully.........the Stink has been DEMOTED.........

Now if only we can trade him for something that might help this team.....which by the way is still possible regardless of how down on him we are......he's still got value to some teams out there......
