AGon will be fine........his is truly a slump.......Marcus is a problem, and I'm starting to wonder what the Braves knew that we're just now figuring out?

They knew that he was more expensive than Kelly Johnson,thats what they knew.
If Marcus could hit in April,he can hit now.He just has to "do it"!

1 good month followed by 2.5 bad months, and what he's able to do is looking worse and worse....it appears that April was the anomoly and what he's really able to do is what he's done for the majority of the year........

I would like nothing more than for MGiles to start killing the ball, and end the season around .280, but as of right now, with the deadline looming, 2nd base is a HUGE hole for this team, and there is a guy out there available, who is a fan favorite, who wouldn't cost too much in players or $$$, that could hold down 2nd base through '08.....

Time for us to go get him before we have a chance to drop further back of the Dogs......

Linebrink / Stansberry .......for Loretta / Jennings

This gives the Astros a possible 2bag & closer of the future, and gives us another arm and plug for 2nd base........
