They'd likely be 16-28 during that stretch if not for Bradley.

    I mean, seriously reefer

The guy has a .367 BA, .466 OBP, .673 SLG (1.139 OPS), 8 HRs, and 25 RBIs in his 2 months as a Padre and you're sticking to your story that he's not helping much?

He has far exceeded my expectations and he is doing awesome but the end result is what matter most and the Padres are playing the same kind of ball before Bradley coming over.

That's a lame thing to cling on to so that you can refrain from retracting your initial doubt.

Some of the pitching has regressed and the rest of the offense started playing even worse than they had before (as a whole), especially when Bradley wasn't starting.

By your logic any move for any "big bat" they could have made wouldn't have "helped much at all" and thus you would have liked it.

Milton Bradley has performed about as well, if not better, than we would have expected Adam Dunn to....and Dunn would have cost us a helluva lot more than Andrew Brown.

And don't read that as me saying he's as good as Dunn...he's just played that well the past two months...without the high strike out total.

    Re: Padres acquire Milton Bradley

Padres pitching not doing what it did in the first half is the reason for the overall record not being better......Bradley's addition might in fact be the reason its as good as it is.......

I agree with you guys, Reefer is just not going to agree because he doesnt want to admit to being wrong.

I'm not wrong. The Padres have been playing the same. He is not the type of player who is going to change anything. You can think what you want.

Bull puckey. So your not going to admit that if Milton Bradley was not in the line up and Jose Cruz was the Padres would be at least 5-6 back instead of 3. He has made a difference and has helped keep the Padres closer to contention that if he wasnt in, plain and simple.

Playing the same ? Didn't the Padres just pull ahead of the Dbags in team BA ? Wouldn't that suggest they are hitting better ?
