He's only been brought in in the middle of an inning once this year. May 2nd against the Nationals, runners on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out.

He got out of the inning without allowing either to score.

    Fans can be so fickle.

After spending the last hour or so studying Linebrink's game logs from this year (every one of them) he's actually been better this season than even I thought.

I'm not saying I feel that way, Linebrink has either faithful supporters or great haters. I am just saying that in a game against the Bo Sox with a series win on the line, to lose a game like that, even his supporters would turn on him.

I knew what you were getting at.

I didn't mean to make it sound like that post was directed specifically at you.

I was just saying it'd take more than Mike Cameron to get him, lol

I think I'd rather have Dye as well.

Hard to say......Reds are looking to dump salary, making Dunn a FA essentially.......and Cameron in that bandbox would offer a ton more defense and nearly the same offense, so why would swapping FA OFers be that out of the question again ?

The Reds are not contending this year. Why would they trade their best bat for a guy that could walk after the season's over?

They've said a few times they're only thinking of moving him to dump salary.....they need to make the move to free up $$$ for next year.....

hey they may not......but if $$$ is the issue.......Cameron walks anyway, cost less, gives as much if not more, and they are done with Dunn
