W-W-W. Three future Hall of Famers pitching for the Padres in this series. Boston is dead meat.

L - W- L, we have never seen Dice-K and he will make us look silly as usual, Young will out pitch Wakefield, he cant throw nothing but Knucklers, and the offense refuses to show again in game three handing Jake another loss in a low scoring game. Hope I'm wrong on this one for sure.

L........W..........L.............sorry guys......dose of reality from me........Boston is going to rake us over the coals......they can mash, and have the pitching to close down pathetic hitting......we're in deep crap here......best we can hope for is that Petco factors and keeps their bats some what quiet

edit : I had my stuff backwards.......I'm picking CY to win....thought he was going tonight

    I'm going with L-W-W

Maddux has a rough start, one the Padres can't overcome....Sox 7 Padres 2

Young keeps the Padres in the game, Padres win late....Padres 4 Sox 3

Peavy has his best outing of the year on National TV, offense picks him up....Padres 5 Sox 1.

    Re: Red Sox@Padres 6/22/07-6/24/07

Morons on ESPN keep stating that this is the Red Sox first trip ever to San Diego.

I realize the team we fielded in 2002 hardly classified as a major league baseball team but the Red Sox still went to San Diego to play the Padres.

I was at the 2nd game, the only one of the 3 the Padres won. Frank Castillo got ejected in the 7th inning for arguing a balk and throwing his glove at the umpire.

Are we surprised at anything ESPN says these days? Someone needs to call them on not doing their homework.
