    San Diego, CA - The San Diego Padres today agreed to terms with right-handed pitcher Matt Latos, the team’s 11th-round pick in the 2006 First-Year Player Draft. The club has now signed or agreed to terms with 15 of its first 17 picks from the top 15 rounds of last year’s draft.

    This is an awesome start to this years amateur signing period!
    Can't wait to see what we do with our other EIGHT picks in the top 100(88 actually)!
    Gotta figure this was done so we can now go after some bats as well.

    kick major ass........this is a great signing and hopefully this kid is as good as advertised......our farm system is one weekend away from really starting to produce some talent hopefully......
