I knew it. Dont forget what the Quick Chocolate Milk rabbit always told us as kids. Patience is a Virtue.
We always get to open 1 present on Christmas Eve and my parents get to pick it so it is usually some type of clothes or something not really exciting.
So, you're basically saying you'd hold him out until after the All-Star break, regardless of whether we lose 1,2 or all 3 games? If he's ready to go and he wants to play, I run him out there and see what he does. You don't have to play him all 9 innings, play him for 5-6 and bring him back out. Better yet, bring him in as a defensive replacement in the 6th or 7th inning, let him get some work in the outfield and it will get him at least 1 at bat.

I am not basically saying it, I said it like 5 times.
Bradley's one game isn't going to get you guys in the playoffs. Keep him rested and healthy. Why risk it? No point in it. One game and then a break isn't going to get him in a groove whatsoever. Everyone treats the second half as a new start or at least those in contention. having a losing streak to end the first half isn't going to kill team morale.
Don't you guys wish the Padres would have called up Cust like I suggested before the season?
Bradley makes his debut this afternoon...1-3 2 runs scored, not a bad opening act.

If he's ready..........he's ready........getting him a couple games in, to me, is better than just one game and then a break.......this will be a tune up of sorts.........if Black double switches for him in the 6th or whatever it will have at least seen him at the plate 2 maybe 3 times.......So IF he's ready........let him play.......as it was, he made this lineup better IMO
He absolutely makes this lineup better...Adrian, Cameron, Bradley, Barrett? DAMN!

Padres had interest in Jermaine Dye before acquiring Bradley.
From the UT
Glad they didn't pull the trigger on that one.By Tom Krasovic

Before the Padres acquired Bradley, they asked the White Sox about outfielder Jermaine Dye and were told the price would be shortstop Khalil Greene and reliever Scott Linebrink. End of discussion.
Although, I guess that proposal does prove me wrong that a non contending team won't want to trade for Linebrink, so I'll take this opportunity to concede that portion of that particular debate.

That's a lot for the White Sox to ask for, especially with Dye's injury. They're basically asking for 2 healthy players for 1 injured one? As bad as that team is, they better lower their price or get laughed off of every conference call.

We could have p/u Bradley also.......and had both......my god man........
PFF, are you missing the portion of the proposal that said "Khalil Greene"? and/or did you miss the word "and" in it?
