Griffey is rung up looking. Maddux is perfect through three.
    Quit trying to jinx him.

Whaaa? I would never do such a thing. I am actually hoping someone urinates on Maddux, like he likes to do, for good luck of course.

Cruz with a bouncer to 2nd for the first out.

Giles with a liner that hangs a bit, Hamilton puts a glove on it for the second out.

Gonzalez swings at the high heat and Belisle gets his first painfree inning via the 1-2-3.

Brandon Phillips with a chopper that Greene charges in for and fires over to 1st for out number 1.

Dunn with a little grounder that Gonzalez flips to the covering Maddux. Two down.

Hamilton flys out to the waiting Cameron in center.
    Perfection through four.

Your futile jinx attempts will not work.

Greg Maddux just tied a Padres record for most sacrifice bunts in a game.

1-2 count, Greene swings and misses for a punchout but guess what? The ball gets away and Greene is on first.

Cameron with a basehit through the hole on the left.

Bard with a baseknock, somewhere as it doesn't matter anymore, Another run scores, 6-0 Padres.

Kouzmanoff with a sacrifice fly to right. 7-0 Padres.

Maddux with yet another first pitch perfect bunt, two outs.

Marcus Giles with a popup in foul territory. I'd like to say the bleeding is over, but that looks extremely doubtful.

Another sign of things going horrible for us. I am not sure I can take much more of this.

Valentin blows the no-no on a double off the CF wall. We better score here or the breaking of the no-hitter was for nothing.

Broken bat grounder that gets by Maddux but not his infield. Gonzalez is out.

Valentin rips a double off the right-center wall. It's over! Of course the Padres are completely dominating the game on every front and it will end up likely a 10+ run game against the Reds, but we did it, we got a hit and the franchise has redeemed itself.

Maddux, terrified of Jeff Keppinger, gives up hit number two. Can we hit an 8 run homer?

Freel with a grounder to short, 6-4-3 DP and our big bad threat is over.
