by the way, don't you need to add Germano to your tracker?
He should've won his 2007 debut.
Re: Cardinals@Padres 5/11/07-5/13/07
and CY.......he only gave up 1 ER the other day
Re: Cardinals@Padres 5/11/07-5/13/07
Yeah, but that was more on the defense followed up by him allowing more runs that just didn't count against him thanks to the way statistics work.
Granted the Padres didn't score anything, so he could've given up 1 run all game regardless and still get the loss.

This is the point of keeping track of this stat in a nutshell

Then you should ignore what happens to the pitchers and just track every game in which the Padres score less than 3.
I thought the point of your tracker was to count how many times the offense robs a pitcher of a win. The defense did more of the pilfering on that game if you ask me.
Re: Cardinals@Padres 5/11/07-5/13/07
I was just worried about Jake.......it was suggested I keep track of the others....
Re: Cardinals@Padres 5/11/07-5/13/07
You should make a tracker for how many times David Wells gives up 5 or more ER

The funny thing is, David Wells can have a 6.30 ERA and the Padres pitching is still 2nd in the NL in team ERA.

The sad thing is that if they werent carrying that bloated ERA they would probably be first damn it...:banghead:
Re: Cardinals@Padres 5/11/07-5/13/07

Don't be a glass half empty type.
Everybody has to have a 5th starter.
Besides, if Clay's sinker is definitely back in line and Germano keeps pitching like he is they may be tempted to trim the fat. (no pun intended)
