What I'm seeing so far out of this team is a total lack of bench depth......this bench sucks, especially with Branyan gone.....but even with him back, we need to upgrade it badly.....there isn't a single threat coming off the bench with the stick......not one

Yeah add to the fact that you have two starters that have worse averages than most pitchers and it is like having 6 starters and 3 pitchers on the field at all times, that sucks donkey balls.

Branyan 3RD
Sledge LF

or maybe even better

Sledge LF --- his OBP should be at the top so he can be on for the big bats
Giles RF
AGon 1B
Cruz Jr. CF ---- offers great protection for AGon which should lead to more Offense

Bard C
Branyan 3RD ---- if he can be patient, what a threat at the bottom of the order

Right now one of these gives us our best chance to score runs and win........and thats really the bottomline to building your lineup...

Apparently he and his wife are having to find some other means of transportation to and from Ohio because she's 8 months pregnant and that is the reason for the long bereavement leave.

While Branyan would be the better option right now, we want Kouz to catch fire and become the guy he's supposed to be.
