    Re: Cameron?

I don't buy Rowands bat in Petco......his defense you bet......his stick......more built for a bandbox like Philly......so I'm far from sold on Rowand at the cost of someone like Linebrink that is......

I'd rather Cruz Jr was starting over Cameron right now.....ride that hot streak as long as it goes........Sledge is showing he's capeable of holding down LF, so long as he doesn't kill someone in the OF.......and benching Cameron upgrades this offense and defense IMO.....

Did anyone else notice how tenative Cameron went back on that ball late in the game last night.......he let it hit the base of the wall.....and it was not uncatchable for a multi-GGer......he's playing weak OF, and worthless with the bat.....he's not helping this team more than he's hurting it

I'll take Rowand over Cruz any day of the week and twice on Sunday. At least he can hit with runners in scoring position.

    Easy to say that now.

Not that I don't agree with you.

    Re: Cameron?

I wasn't a fan of Cruz to begin with, even with his hot offensive start at the beginning of the year. I would much rather see Boca out there right now. You don't lose anything defensively and he gives you speed on the base paths.

Yes......I think his bat dies in Petco.....speaking of his power of course......he's ballpark created IMO

As far as the trade goes......You asked for examples of where KT COULD have traded him......I sited them to you......

My disappointment is that he DIDN'T trade him to improve the team, and now we're staring at draft pick compensation.......My opinion of Rowand doesn't get to change because he's posting good #'s now......again......I don't play hindsight......it's a BS thing to do to yourself.....it's not available at the time of the proposal, so don't bang your head months afterwards.......risk is part of the deal

    Re: Cameron?

So, let me get this straight.

You still don't think Rowand would be any good at PetCo.....but you still think KT should have traded Linebrink for him when he had the chance?

Explain to me again how you're not asking for him to trade Linebrink just for the sake of trading him.
