Bud Black leading candidate for managerial job.

    http://www.sportsline.com/mlb/story/9759630

I don't know much about his coaching skills, so I don't know if he'd be a good candidate or not.

Towers says he has 7 or 8 candidates, none of which are former big league managers.

You know.....I like this Hillman guy......he's managed a winner in a league that requres fundamentals...and has experience coaching Japanese players which would give him an edge with our new FA hiring

Sadly, I read this morning that Dusty Baker could be a candidate for the managerial position.....

I really hope not. Dusty Baker should not be managering in the big leagues anymore, nor should he be anymore, especially near young pitchers. I would be afraid for Peavy and Young if Baker was indeed hired.

Hope you guys like The Toothpick, because he's probably more likely to get the job than Bud Black.

Baker needed to get his name back out in the new circulating.....otherwise he wouldn't have a shot at that cushy Rangers job that's available....talk about a fit
