Series is far from over, it's actually just getting started. Good luck with Jeff Weaver in game 2

Well folks isn't this the story of our year and don't we keep finding ways to land on our feet? Hell we won the division in a tiebreaker in the stats, if that does not say this is our year nothing does. That was just a set up for the comeback, we run the table in the next three in 1-0 games each and by the time the WS is over we will all be in an institution for the Bochyized insane.

I thought Suppan was going Game 2? Peavy was straight filthy the first time through then started leaving hangers up in the zone. He got away with some but then they started to hit him. Belliard played great defense yesterday too. Still got Marquis and Weaver to look forward to.

Cards want to have Suppan pitch at home (3.18 ERA) rather than on the road (5.36 ERA), yes even in Petco Park.

They rather send Jeff Weaver out there, Weaver's better on the road than at home.

Piazza catches that foul ball ( nobody say it hit the screen, it didn't ), and that inning is over and the game has a different flavor

That guy in the suit claims it hit the net.

1:43 -- Disturbing sideline report from Duke Castiglione: When David Wells was a Toronto rookie, he lived at Jesse Barfield's house and occasionally babysat Baby Josh Barfield (before he became Young Josh Barfield), even changing some diapers and everything. Now that's horrifying. Meanwhile, Berman has dropped three "Young Josh Barfields" and two "Little David Ecksteins" in less than three innings. Couldn't he throw in a "Fat Ronnie Belliard" now and then?
I can only imagine what the clubhouse relationship between David Wells and Josh Barfield is like.

If that ball did not hit the net, the back draft there is something to behold cause it went in rapid reverse. I hope all of you down there are going to the game, since you have the chance, but record it too, that will clear those things up for you.

If I blew a foul pop up that badly during the playoffs, I'd claim it also......hey anyone that's ever caught a single game knows the kind of backspin that a foul ball can have........and that's all that was.......he botched it.....Peavy was right there, and called Piazza out for it publically ( bad idea ) but that should tell you all you need to know....
