Yup....And part the original point was they are sucking and getting a horrible ROI for that $200m payroll.....and no matter how many games the Padres win each year, beating the LA Dollars into oblivion is always icing on whatever cake, even a shitty one

If the Padres spent 200m to suck I'd be pissed off at that FO, not defending their lunacy. Since that wont happen it's one area I don't have to worry, and there are plenty of things to hate about "my" team.......but right now one of those isn't them losing to the NY transplant up the I-5 because they've been kicking the shit outta them.....

What's fucking lunacy is you would still blame the "money" guys even if they're the ones actually carrying the team (Gonzalez and Crawford) or sorely missed (Greinke and Hanley) when it's the backup scrubs like Luis Cruz and Justin Sellers who should be in Triple-A who have been the waste of money (albeit the league minimum), when we all know damn well you would be still be mocking the Dodgers for being broke and running James Loney and Juan Rivera out in first base and left field every day.
