in case anyone doesn't understand the reference, "Baghdad Bob" was the Iraqi Information Minister who was well known for spewing dillusional reports on Al Jazeera (Iraq's version of CNN/Fox News etc etc) basically stating everything is ok in Iraq while the American forces tore them apart.

I don't watch the news that much either.

I found out who he was due to people making similar cracks, to include calling people "Baghdad Bob" if they would make a "rose colored glasses" type argument about their favorite team.

I then bought the documentary on him and got a bit of a laugh on everything.

One of the prominant Reds fans even has the same picture I used in his sig line, with a tag about having the Cardinals where they want them, or something like that.

what do you think the entire purpose of this thread was?

I was pretty much poking fun at myself and all the arguments I was making in pseudo-favor of the move.

The main point to my arguments were that it's not that bad a move if Walker holds down third base decently well.

He's clearly not doing that.

And they make it an even dumber move when Bochy pinch hits Bellhorn for Walker, completely negating the entire reason they're playing him out of position.
