Oh ok, my bad BoltsFan. Ranger fan is pissed because Adrian has more HR's than Teixiera right now and they have to deal with Adam Eaton not being able to get out of the 4th inning.

OBB........I can't believe this, but I'm on the otherside of this Hall debate in another forum.......lol.......

I'm actually defending Hall and his skill in another forum, while they are calling him and I quote "....an overrated utility man...."

They believe we can get Hall from the Brewers to play 3rd for us, for someone like Stauffer or for a couple 2nd tier prospects........I said that it was highly unlikely but if that could be done, that we would become one of the best hitting offenses on paper ( as you claimed ) right now....and to do it....but chances are that it wouldn't for cheap

I agree; I thinbk it would cost us Linebrink (worth it, IMO).

    Linebrink yes..........Greene NO..........

Had you suggested trading Linebrink for Hall, I probably would have agreed once I looked up this kids stats.....Brewers need bullpen help, so now you're on the right track IMO

The way Bill Hall has been stroking the baseball, I'd deal Linebrink for Hall in a heartbeat, I wouldn't even think about it for a second.

the Brewers, unfortunatly, would stop to think about it.

They already have three relievers in their pen who have been a closer at some point in the last three years.

But the way Francisco "Gas Can" Cordero pitched, or lack thereof, don't you think they might want Cordero to setup a guy like Linebrink?

I think they'll have him set up Turnbrow and/or Kolb first.

I could see them taking Linebrink anyways....if there was a high quality prospect along with him.

(not saying i'd be against that, though.)

They acquired Cordero to be their closer, they're taking that role away from Turnbow and they know from watching Kolb in Atlanta that he can't get it done either. I don't think they made an upgrade at all at the closer spot and I think they'd rather have him as a setup guy to someone like Linebrink than Turnbow/Kolb.
