It's being reported that the White Sox are close to a deal for Alfonso Soriano....who is involved hasn't been reported, but that's the word.
Another rumor coming out of Boston. Boston, San Diego and a few other teams are working on a multi-team and multi-player deal that would ultimately send Mike Lowell and Coco Crisp to San Diego for Scott Linebrink and prospects.
As far as Greg Maddux goes, looks like that deal could get done by tomorrow afternoon and don't be suprised if you hear Mark Redman's name mentioned in connection with San Diego as well.
